Yoga Foundation course will start new year 2018, I am just confirming all the dates. You are welcome to enquire and apply now. Throughout you record your progression with self-reflection in a journal format and experiment to create your own self-practise. The certificate course can be a stepping stone towards BWY teacher training.
The full course is across ten Saturdays in Cumnor Old School and possible al fresco venue. Additional fees are registration fee of £60, BWY membership of £34 and ideally two yoga books which we can purchase with group discount. My yoga library will be available of books, magazines and some media.

Yoga Foundation course 2015
Lorna enjoyed Patanjali’s advice to help sit with ease in pranayama and meditation. Angela and Michele found the most from Asanas like Trikonasana and balance of Trikonasana.
Students have gone onto further study with the Yoga Foundation course II, and others considering the BWY modules in Meditation and Pranayama as well as Teaching Diploma.
The main venue for the Yoga Foundation course is the Old School in Cumnor. Fingers crossed for a couple of days in different venues to enjoy al fresco yoga, if the weather permits.
Cumnor is accessible by bus no 4 connecting from central Oxford and the central train station and bus link to villages through to Abingdon. Likewise Old Headington Village hall links with no. 13, which gives us some space outside for yoga alfresco weather permitting.
Introduction Day for Yoga Foundation Course
There will be an introduction evening on 28 January 2017. A great taster of the course and to meet the other students and discuss course content etc. Do get in touch for full details call: 07931 743785 or email. Ring for a chat about the course and your journey starting.
BWY Yoga Foundation Course
The Yoga Foundation course is one of the many courses offered by the British Wheel of Yoga. It is accredited by the BWY and can be a stepping stone towards starting the Teacher Training Diploma.
Membership of the BWY is a great way of connecting with the yoga world and locally. You receive the benefit of yoga days at reduced prices, quarterly magazine Spectrum and the local South magazine covering the five counties. The BWY is a charity mainly run by volunteers. Do sign up for some Karma yoga by joining the Committee for South Region or helping out. Find out what is happening now in BWY South.
