- Botley the Deancourt Community Centre has lots of events such as food swap and a great craft group meeting once a month, you could join after the earlier yoga class!
- Horspath the former Chapel is now the Hub. Has a Friday coffee morning with homemade cakes. The weekly events are listed on the monthly calendar, including their craft group and chair yoga.

Chair Yoga If you need to slow down or restricted movement then try Chair based Yoga. Age UK helps fund classes:Monday mornings in URC hall in Cumnor and on Wednesday morning in Deancourt CC and The Hub, Horsapth.

Bicester: Yoga Being, is a great teacher, Elaine Whitaker offering a couple of local popular classes.
London: Bram Williams is the most mindful, spiritual, and funniest teacher I know. Yoga and Kum Nye classes in West/Central London.
London: Will Slator has written for inspirational summerbucketlist website with ideas to try something new and different. He follows Jivamukti Yoga which is a more fluid and dance inspired style of yoga, give it go if you are visiting London.

Get involved with local charity organisation as a hands on helper, behind the scenes, organising events for Karma yoga. If your time is short donate to keep these amazing resources that help so many folk both locally and nationally.
Well done Lara on teaching her first class this morning, 17 October 2016 as a student teacher covering the Monday Cumnor class. The group donated £78.00 for her class to Water Aid. Missed class then do donate now to this great charity changing lives with clean fresh water.
Ongoing recently, with student classes and raffles, we have also supported:
- Help teenagers be in wards for their age group across the UK Teenager Cancer Trust
- With tough times Maggie’s is a lifeline. They give free practical, emotional and social support with their journey with cancer. Based here in Oxford’s JR, the Maggie’s Centre is invaluable.
- The amazing work at Sobell House Hospice. True respect for all the thoughtful work and care. Special thanks to the volunteers supporting the main team.
