Gently guided by Baby College Oxfordshire, friendly classes are a great place for your special time together. A carefully designed range of physical, multi-sensory and cognitive games and exercises to enjoy together in class and at home.

Up-cycle in style and learn a new skill. Jan Donley is an inspirational teacher of Upholstery but get in touch quick as her classes get very full. Based in Botley.

Create a handmade piece of Beaded jewellary on a refined scale or expand your mind and creativity on one of Sara Withers courses.

Open in 2014, these community halls, bring their local community together:

  • Botley the Deancourt Community Centre has lots of events such as food swap and a great craft group meeting once a month, you could join after the earlier yoga class!
  • Horspath the former Chapel is now the Hub. Has a Friday coffee morning with homemade cakes. The weekly events are listed on the monthly calendar, including their craft group and chair yoga.

The British Wheel of Yoga is the governing body I belong to and has a postcode search for teachers, across the UK.

Chair Yoga If you need to slow down or restricted movement then try Chair based Yoga. Age UK helps fund classes:

  • With tough times Maggie’s is a lifeline. They give free practical, emotional and social support with their journey with cancer. Based here in Oxford’s JR, the Maggie’s Centre is invaluable.
